Getting an SSL certificate is the easiest way to increase your customer’s confidence in your online business.

What is an SSL Certificate?

An SSL Certificate is a digital certificate issued for a domain by a central authority called the Certificate Authority. To be issued an SSL Certificate, you must purchase an SSL Certificate and then go through a verification process conducted by the Certificate Authority .

Why should I buy an SSL Certificate?

There are many benefits of an SSL certificate, we will try to cover the main benefits of having an SSL certificate. An SSL Certificate does 2 things:

a. Encrypt the information sent from your user’s browser to your website means very less chances of data sniffing.

b. Authenticate your website’s identity.

By doing these 2 things, an SSL Certificate protects your customers and in turn increases their trust in your online business. This is especially important if your website requires users to login using passwords or enter sensitive information such as credit card details.

Boost customer confidence

Many customers actively look for the SSL lock icon before handing over sensitive data. Get an SSL certificate to increase your customer’s trust in your online business. This eventually going to pay back more than cost.

Covid19 and future of online learning in India https://demo.awiseguru.com/covid19-and-future-of-online-learning-in-india/ https://demo.awiseguru.com/covid19-and-future-of-online-learning-in-india/#respond Sun, 14 Nov 2021 13:24:08 +0000 http://demo.awiseguru.com/?p=16 There was a pause in the room when I got my report that I am covid positive. I asked my colleagues to leave me alone and get tested. Some of them were positive but later all of us recovered with God’s grace and went back to work mode. Covid19 changed the way of life of everyone but most importantly the way students  learn and study.

Pre-covid era, we literally has to go to each school and explain them why a digital solution is required for their school. Every parent was reluctant to spend money on online learning because they were already spending a lot on school fee, tuition and coaching. Besides this people didn’t have much faith in online learning and cautious about quality of content. All of sudden, the world went into crisis mode due to this pandemic and  halted everything. All educational institutes got shut for indefinite time and yet recovered fully. Most of these institutes/organisations were not equipped with digital learning and resulted in complete shutdown.

For Yayskool, we were devastated too due to poor growth and lost momentum. Before covid, we were progressing with a steady pace but pandemic derailed the complete process. But one thing which was positive is that we don’t have to explain to anyone what Online/Digital learning is. It created the awareness we wanted to have and now every school and learner is opting for digital learning in some way.

After the lockdown was removed, the Yayskool team regrouped and realigned to solve the challenges   posed by Covid19. Some of key initiative are:

  • Helping schools to digitise their operations with Yayskool SaaS product for schools.
  • Joining hands with teachers and encouraging them to teach online to create an alternate source of income.
  • Offering free courses to students to start learning from home.

Another important event that happened to Yayskool was a seed investment from Singapore based investors. This will help us immensely to scale and improve our services. We have some milestones in mind and some really great ideas on how to scale Yayskool in the coming years. But the most important point is to build something which serves the society, uplift students who need it most and create a source of income for teachers.

One of my friends who works as a senior executive in the Insurance Sector  asked me a few days back – Online learning is finished post this pandemic and what will you do then?

My response was –

Online learning is not going to be finished and it’s just started in India, so stay tuned…..
